What “Salem” means?
Salem means PEACE, commonly supposed to be another name of JeruSALEM
When & where does the church meet?
The church meets every Sunday at 10:30 am for our Morning Service in Romford / London Road / RM7 9QA
What should I expect when I visit the church?
Expect us to care about you. We want Salem to be a place that you can call home. Our Guest team will help you find a seat, answer any questions—basically, they will do whatever they can to help you feel comfortable and welcome. Whether you have been around church your entire life or this is your first experience, Salem Church has something for you and your family.
Is there anything for the kids?
We welcome every child and want for them to be a part of all aspects of our church life. We have a group of children and every third Sunday all service it is aim for children
Where can I park my car?
There is limited on-site parking with access from St. Andrews Rd and some off-site parking in side streets around the Church. The Brewery (RM1 1AU) car park (over 1600 parking spaces) is at 5 minute walk / free on Sundays
What should I wear?
We don’t have a dress code. Decency is appreciated.
How long is a church service?
It does vary from week to week, but on the whole, a normal full church service lasts an hour and a half.
Do you have wheelchair access?
Unfortunately we don’t have wheelchair access but we can make some arrangements if we know in advance.
Will I have to join in?
Not at all. You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
